How to Use Remote Help

 

 

§         Contact Hypnion’s IT Group and arrange a time to initiate the shared support session.

§         Download the hypnion_help.exe application to your desktop.  Choose ‘Save’ when prompted and use ‘Desktop’ as the destination.

 

§         At the arranged time, initiate a support telephone call with Hypnion IT.

§         When you run the hypnion_help.exe application, you will connect to an expert here. Hypnion staff will walk you through the use of the remote help service.  Here’s what to expect.

o        When you run the app, you might see a warning like this.  Choose ‘Run’



o        This launches the support application.  Choose to connect by double clicking the list item.

o        You’ll see a notification balloon in your system tray depending on the state of your connection.

This means that you’ve successfully connected to us, and we are in the process of reviewing and accepting your request.

 

 

This means that you’re computer is not yet connected, and is still trying.  There might be a firewall problem on your end or ours.



§         Again, Hypnion staff will be talking with you as you establish the connection.
